This class will be a workshop for keen writers and readers about converting ideas, thoughts and feelings into writing
You will be asked to bring a favourite piece of writing (by someone other than yourself) to read and share with the group. Simon Armitage was born in 1963 in the village of Marsden and lives in West Yorkshire.  He is poet, playwright and novelist. In June 2015 he was elected Professor of Poetry at Oxford University.
