Courage of Conscience: Uncovering WW1's Hidden Stories

Young writers (16-30 yrs old) needed for a Heritage Lottery-funded project creating stories, poetry and drama about Derbyshire's conscientious objectors and the communities who resisted and questioned war a century ago
Free monthly workshops start on Saturday 3rd October at Chesterfield Library, travel expenses provided. The work produced may be included in a booklet and performed at an event in June 2016.

Workshops led by former Derbyshire Poet Laureate River Wolton, assisted by young writers Katherine Robinson and Matthew Knighton. For more details and to book a place please contact Ali Betteridge, Literature Development Officer, Derbyshire County Council
