Info: A performance exploring the political agenda of newspapers. 4 performers will ‘take on’ one another, by representing a different newspaper. Each performer will choose an article to bring to life by reading / rapping / performing out aloud in a rap battle style event. Performances will happen throughout the 11-6 time slot, but not all day. There will be multiple short performances.
Other: Each performer will have to be happy to wear a costume, which represents the newspaper they are representing. The performers opinions do not have to reflect that of the paper, this can be a part of the performance.
You do not have to be a professional, but you do need to be confident in front of an audience and must be able to bring text to life.
In addition to the performance you will need to be able to meet Amelia to talk through the project over Skype initially and once in person a few days before the project.
