Alex English is a children's author and journalist and has written for publications including the Guardian and many national magazines. Her first children’s picture book, YUCK SAID THE YAK, is forthcoming from Maverick Arts Publishing in September 2014. She is currently working on more picture books and fiction for 9-12s.
