I'm an award-winning playwright with a lot of experience leading creative writing courses and projects, and teaching creative writing and scriptwriting in universities. My play, PRETEND YOU HAVE BIG BUILDINGS, won the inaugural Bruntwood Prize, and was performed in the Main House at the Royal Exchange, Manchester, in 2007. Since then, I've been produced many times, most recently with CRUSHED SHELLS AND MUD at the Southwark Playhouse, and my radio play THE LAST MISSIONARY OF KANAIPUR was broadcast on BBC R4 last November.
