Renewal & Resilience: Creative Writing in Education and Communities in 2022 and Beyond, 10 - 12 March 2022, Online


Just three weeks to go! We're looking forward to receiving your proposals considering the theme of renewal and resilience in creative writing and teaching practice at all levels, and in all settings, for #NAWEConf2002. We want to hear from you, whether you teach, study, or organise creative writing in education or the community - about your projects, research and creative writing pedagogies.. Open to members and non-members. Deadline: Monday 1 November 2021

Sector happenings

The Amplify Project is a new podcast series with Black British writers featuring interviews with acclaimed authors, poets and playwrights such as Alex Wheatle, Diana Evans, Nick Makoha and Juliet Gilkes Romero, and hosted by writers Patricia Cumper and Pauline Walker. 

The Literacy Consultancy has launched Being a Writer: Write Club Plus, a year-long programme of support includes practical workshops, motivational masterclasses, monthly writing groups and weekly prompts. Earlybird booking now open.
