NAWE Conference Proposal Writing Guidance Session
We’re running an online session on proposal writing next Tuesday, 8 April, at 18:30-19:30 aimed particularly at members who haven’t previously presented at a NAWE conference and would like some support in putting their proposal together for this November's event. Our theme for for this year's NAWE Online Conference is 'Inspiring Writing' and we welcome proposals for presentations, including academic papers, and practical workshops that inform, showcase, and inspire. Deadline for submissions: 31 May 2025.

Special issue of NAWE’s Writing in Practice: The Journal of Creative Writing Research

NAWE invites creative writing educators to contribute academic articles and creative presentations that explore innovative and reflective approaches to creative writing pedagogy across all educational contexts. Submissions may include original research, theoretical explorations, comprehensive literature reviews, and reflective practice essays. Deadline for submissions: midnight (GMT), 26 January 2026.
